There you`ll find the history of our weekly bugsquashing seminars with a lot of topics specific to MITK and , of course, every presentation as PDF. This is a valueable documentation source for every external developer. You will also find a presentation "Defining your own MITK Datatypes", given by Klaus Fritzsche, which describes the process of integrating your own Datatype including readers. Not too detailed, but I hope it helps.
