Hi Aurélien,
welcome to the MITK community! We are always interested in the people using
MITK and what they are doing, so we are very happy for the introductory mail. I
hope that the bug branches I mentioned in the bug tracker will help you to
quickly get MITK up and running with MSVC 2015.
Please have a look at the MITK Users Meeting mail that was just sent to the
list. Especially the tutorial might be of interest for you(r group). :-)
Best regards,
Stefan
PS: If you run into too much trouble regarding MSVC 2015, I recommend to start
with the fully supported MSVC 2013 until we made MITK ready for MSVC 2015
(soon). Fully supported compilers are supposed to be a more or less one-click
thing to configure, build, and deploy MITK. See also
http://mitk.org/wiki/Developer_Tutorial.

Subject: [mitk-users] New Mitk user
Hello,
I'm working on a company which have a current/legacy application written with
Java/Eclipse/RCP. We are now switching to C++ implementation, and I decided to
use the Mitk framework (in fact, especially the BlueBerry component). I am an
Eclipse lover, and i was extremely happy to find Mitk after digging around ITK,
VTK and CommonTk.
Our first task was to compile the whole Mitk with Qt 5.5.1 and Visual Studio 14
(2015). We are now stabilizing the process and starting the re-implementation
of our application using Mitk, and we will be happy to provide feedback, bug
report and patches/pull requests as much as we can.
Regards,
Aurélien Labrosse
