Thank you. I’m just CC’ing my colleague to this as she uses MITK too and we’ve had similar issues except her workbench version is 2013.12.00. Is this a newer or older version? Because the squares of her calipers are not blacked out in the middle unlike mine on 2018.4.0 and so that she can see your response about how to zoom.
I have not been able to follow your steps below however to see if that works because I can’t see a properties plugin in the data manager box, just a list of frames and shapes that don’t give me that option if I right click on them either Many thanks for your prompt replies Alice From: Seitel, Alexander <a.sei...@dkfz-heidelberg.de> Sent: 18 October 2019 09:54 To: Alice Self <alice.s...@wrh.ox.ac.uk>; mitk-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: AW: Caliper placement Exactly. Usually those squares don’t exceed the size of the line itself by much. Zooming into the image (right mouse button and move mouse up) might help as well, as the size of the square is not affected by zooming. Another possibility would be to disable drawing of the control points in the properties of the drawn line: 1. Select line in Data Manager 2. Open Properties plugin 3. Add “control” as Filter 4. Disable property “drawcontrolpoints” by unclicking the check box next to it. Von: Alice Self [mailto:alice.s...@wrh.ox.ac.uk] Gesendet: Freitag, 18. So to be 100% clear (it’s a bit difficult to clarify without pictures and speaking so sorry!) you are saying that the measurement that MITK generates is from the middle of one of the little squares to the middle of the other square rather than from the medial border of one square to the medial border of the other? If this is the case, why is a square used rather than a cross which would make that clearer? For the Measurement plugin it will be the center point of those little squares that indicate the ends of the line. Alexander Von: Alice Self [mailto:alice.s...@wrh.ox.ac.uk] Gesendet: Donnerstag, 17. When drawing a line you want to measure there are little squares at the end of any line drawn and it is not clear whether you need to place the middle of the box over the end point of the structure you want to measure or whether it must be aligned with some other part of the caliper box Many thanks Alice Alice [YDX674-9V89]
