I thouth we can use timers to manage jogs and some button.

The e2 jog's send 128 (equal) signals in one complete rotation.
Said that we have to use a timer to count the number of signal recived in a
small fixed time interval so we can know the instantaneous rotation speed and 
adjust
the playback rate consequently.

As concern the button i thouth to use timers to map different action if the
button is keep pressed for some time.
As an example let's suppose that the button1 set the hotcue1. If we keep 
pressed
the button for a second the hotcue1 is unset insted (set as -1).
We can do the same for loop and other things.
