Hey all,

I just used the 1.7 release branch to play some music for an event that
lasted about 3 hours. All in all, it was a great experience: no crashes,
no skips, no hiccups. Contrast this to when I used 1.6.1 for a party
about a half a year ago. That was a very different experience. Mixxx
crashed 3 times, and half way through my MIDI controller just stopped
working.

The only major problem at this point is the MIDI scripting issue where
data is somehow getting lost. This caused my SCS3d to act a little funky
at points, but nothing major.

Just wanted to say that I think we should all pat ourselves on the back
a little bit. Mixxx 1.7 will be the best release yet, and 1.8 is looking
even better!

Cheers,
RJ
