Hey Bill, Oops, external mixer support is definitely a big feature I forgot to mention, sorry!
I still think libFLAC is necessity. Reviewing this code is in my work queue, but if anyone else wants to review it, I'd appreciate the help. It shouldn't be that difficult to review, there's no multithreading or anything like that.
