I isolated enginefilteriir.cpp and wrote a test program for it and any new versions of it. That's how I saw speed improvements. I'll post this test environment after fixing the patch. When I rebuilt the Mixxx package, the patch went in along with some important compiler switches (like --ffast-math and -O3), which by themselves will yield a performance improvement.
