Hi Sean,
i am afraid the frame rate measurement is to flippery in 1.11.0 to be
significant. Can you please test my branch with timer vsync strategie =
Timer? The fist value is the frame rate mean value, the second value
prefixed with "e" is an realtime error (jerk) counter. On my netbook I can
achieve ~40 fps with software rendering and ~65 fps with Filtered GL.
Please be sure that vsync is disabled in your driver settings. You have
tested on widows right? Which driver you are using? Could it be possible
that you have a vsync enabled only for openGL.
If so and Mixxx actively waits for vysnc, it has impact to the controller
scratch behavior. But there is no direct interaction.
It would be also nice if one on this list could test and comment may
wavfom_dejerk merge request. It includes all uncritical changes from
daschuers_trunk.
