dave, i tried this on a small sample 24/48 wav file. i then mplexed it to a black video. the commands i used and output are below. notice that mplex seems to recognize the lpcm file as 16 bit. based on the file size alone (when compared to the original wav file), i think it is in fact 24 bit. how do i test the lpcm file to find sample size and rate?
