The mjpegtools usually work with a mjpeg encoded video stream and a wav
audio using AVI and Quicktime as container format. Everything else is
not tested.

What kind of sound format is that. 

lav2wav tries to take the audio and put it to stdout. I would think that
lav2wav has problem getting the wave header. Have you tried lavtrans ?
