That is probably the line that references lqt_fileno() which is from
libquicktime and the libquicktime API has changed. The version of
libquicktime that is installed on the system may be too old.

Couple of things you can try:
Get the latest libquicktime.
If that is not sufficient (if the error persists) then check out the
current CVS version of mjpegtools. There was a brief discussion about
doing a mjpegtools-1.9 release but nothing has happened yet.
Final suggesion would be to disable Quicktime supoort with
--without-libquicktime
but that obviously limits the types of files that can be read.
