Hello,
I am in the market for a 1990-1992 Jetta GLI 16v. I'm really picky, so
bear with me. I want one with ABS and the body must be in excellent
condition; preferably from the West or South snow-free zones. I live in CA
but would be willing to travel for the right car. I'd like one with teal
paint, or basically any color other than the usual red/white/black. (Did VW
make any 90-92 GLI's in colors besides R/W/B, teal, and Calypso Green?)
Other options would be nice, like factory fog lights, cruise, power, etc.
Low miles are a plus too. I've searched Classifieds2000, my local papers
(Sac & SanFran), and the horrendous "new & improved TraderOnline",
AutoTrader.com but have turned up very little. I found one in AZ that was
promising but it's in the process of being sold already to a local buyer.
It's pretty hard to find many of them with ABS, I guess. If anyone has one
for sale, or knows of one for sale, or has any other info, please drop me
an email with whatever information you have.
The dream car: 1992 GLI, 50kmi, factory teal paint, ABS, all options,
mostly stock, one owner, all service records. Yeah, I know, I'm dreaming.
