I'll disconnect the EGR valve and see what happens. I can't physically remove it, since I need installed to to pass smog (visual, anyway). BTW, the two hose connections under the intake boot (near the t/b) don't do anything with EGR, they control the airbox flapper that allows warm air in when the car is cold. I would think that would improve cold engine performance? Disconnecting it will allow only cold (outside) air into the intake. Anyone messed with this?
