Should self adjust.  However, the caliper pistons tend to use a portion of
the bore during the normal life of the pads, and the unused portion can
corrode, particularly if the fluid hasn't been changed regularly.  Brake
fluid is hygroscopic by nature (likes water, and absorbs it right out of the
atmosphere), which will promote corrosion in the brake system.  In other
words, your piston(s) may be stuck back in the bores.
Another thing, I never changed my brake bias when I went to 11" fronts/22 mm
master, and my brake balance is still spot on.
