Ya know how you have to actually turn the piston back into the caliper
when putting in new pads?  

Is it necessary to turn them back out a certain amount to fit them
properly or will they self adjust?

The reason I'm asking is that I have almost no rear braking even with
my proportioning valve set fully open. (note: ever since I switched to
11" calipers w/ bigger MC). Even when I yank the ebrake, I get almost
nothing... holds the car fine when its not moving though.

Is something off here?
