2.0 L 16v passats have the hop kits as do the later model gti's at least
that is were igot mine ..the passat has its shock absorber as part of the
motor mount down low and doesnt require the mounting to the shock tower. as
far as i know the hop kit is fairly common. seen 1.8s with them also, i have
never seen any 8v with them at all or corrado unless it was some story a
dealer made up. i have a corrado and checked all possible avenues of recalls
the hop kit isnt one of them.
