Kris - quit renting Contours, go for the Escort instead. Whenever my truck is in the shop (which is frequently since I race with my service advisor), I've had opportunities to drive both cars in 4 cylinder configuration. Both cars have similar hp ratings but the Contour is 500 lbs or more heavier.
