Yeah, but unfortunately that 20v Turbo 5 cyl is pretty pricey, and finding
one in a junkyard would be pretty tough. The 20v turbo cars I've seen are
all pretty well cared for and won't be going to the scrapyard for a while.
If I COULD get a good deal on one, it'd be a lot of fun to put it into one
of the late Audi Coupes (the 20v quattro coupes) which came with that motor
in europe anyway. Nice engine. My dad has one in his '91 200 and the
thing is spectacular. 7000 RPM redlines in cars that size are pretty rare.
It feels weird to drive a full sized car as hard as my jetta. :) Too bad
the car is kind of an ergonomic mess (at least from a driver's standpoint).
Still, it's a heck of a lot of fun when the roads get bad, and it's great
for long trips.
