I can think of lots of instances when it might be OK to go 113 mph in a 65. I-90 through Iowa is 65 mph, rail strait, and TOTALLY DESERTED at times. Get yourself a lawyer. That's a serious enough offense that they're not going to just give you a warning or make it a no-points ticket. I'm not willing to face the penalty of my actions when the people making money off of my ticket are a bunch of corrupt politicians, insurance companies and lobbyists. Yeah, he was probably doing something dumb, but I see no reason for his "debt to society" to be essentially writting a check to his insurance company. Screw that.
Most of us have made some quick bursts up to triple digit speeds, for a few seconds at least. We were all just lucky we weren't caught. A lawyer should handle it for a couple hundred bucks, which will save you money in the long run if he can get your points reduced. Don't whine or claim that the officer was mistaken when you go to court. Still, dude, be a bit discrete when you're doing shit like that, next time. ALWAYS assume that there's a cop around the next corner, over a bridge, behind an overpass, etc...I don't know about new jersey, but a lot of states will take your car, lock you up for a while, force you to do community service or cut up your license for reckless driving. :( _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
