Hello,

  There is one little thing that is different about
the *blocks* - there is a set pin near the drivers
side rear of the block that needs to be re-located
before installation. I Think it needs to be moved to
the next hole closest to the passenger side.
(Actually, Vice versa if you are installing a 2.0 L
head on a 1.8 L block.)
I learned this one the hard way a few years ago.

Another trick to ease the installation of the head is
to take your old head bolts, cut the heads off them,
and slot them for use with a flat screw driver. 
this assures that everything is lined up right the
first time.

Just remeber that a 2.0 L head has smaller intake
ports, and *may* hurt upper end performance if not
ported. If you have the 2 heads side by side, compare
the intake ports- there is quite a difference.

   the good part of this is that the exhaust ports
flow better, giving you a little motre low end torque.
