Nope, they were AVS intermediates...and they were frickin' loud.  I
certainly never had a problem with car control due to lack of tire noise at
the limit, but if my mom/girlfriend/etc were driving the car I'd like the
tires to give a little audible warning.  On the other hand, the SP8000's
barely make any cornering noise either, so I guess I'm talking out my ass...
