Well guys thanks for the input. My friend currently has an old taurus that he tried to race me with today. I simply dropped a gear and that was the end. He is getting the 240 next week so we will see what happens. As for the automatic, I thought they had less torgue than a manual. I know i read or heard this somewhere.
