I'm programing our new computer catalog at work for CV axles and came across a GLX 16v made from 90-92. I thought the GLX was the GLI of the A3's.
Does anyone know if the transmission in this GLX is the same as the GLI? The GLI has a 4.00" inner joint and regular Jetta's have a 3.75". Is there an MT 2.8L in '99 and up (A4?) Jettas? My boss thinks the 2.8L's only come with AT's. Jimi Polivka PS- No GLI yet. Sold to high at the auction. I'll give more details tomorrow.
