If you're going to remove the distributor from it's place it might be a good
idea to score (or index) a line in the metal so you won't have to set the
timing when you replace it.

My buddy just replaced the hall sender and the distributor seal (oil pissing
out) at the same time.
Just be delicate, work on a clean surface (perferably a desk) and have a
Bentley handy.

I'm sure it's not a hard job.
