[a2-16v-list] battery cables and such?

After much rain here in RI, my GLI refused to start. Again. This has 
happened before- coil tests OK, when testing for spark the spark is super 
weak. Futzing with the plug wires and ground strap is enough to finally 
make the car start, but this is getting somewhat crazy. Just ordered new 
plug wires from parts4vws, but I also want to replace all of the battery 
wiring (ground, starter, alternator wires). In my last GLI, I used some 
stock autozone replacement 4 gauge battery wires, which solved my starting 
issues, but were not great quality. I was thinking of the New Dimensions 
MOWA series, but it seems like a lot of money for such a simple product. 
Anyone else got any ideas or advice? Appreciate it-
