The most common leak in this area is the oil temperature or pressure sensor located on top of the filter flange. Every dealer has a boatload of these because they leak so often. They cost around $7 and is an easy replacement. Clean the area above and around the oil filter, then replace this sensor. See if that cleans up your oil leak.

The filter itself isn't leaking (that I can tell), so I'm thinking it's probably the oil/coolant heat exchanger that the filter attaches to. Anyone fixed a leak in this area? What new seals will I need before tearing into it?
