Make sure that the tranny is square to the bell housing.  If its not it will 
not mate up.
Thats when the guy helping hold the tranny from the top helps while you guide 
it in.

    You'll have to rotate the tranny until it goes in.  It may be a good idea to
    have a friend help left the tranny from under the hood while you shift the
    tranny into place.

    It's not an easy task rotating the tranny, especially when your laying on
    concrete floor.
