I tried what you told me in the previous email (regarding SAMBA), you told me to use: mount //keith/public /mnt/keith uid=Keith The problem is I don't know where to type this. I tried typing it in the shell, but I still dont have write permissions to /mnt/keith. I also put it in /etc/fstab but it still didn't work. I have no idea what went wrong. I've noticed that when Linux starts the message: Monting SMB file systems [Failed] I only notice now because I rarerly stay looking at the PC while it loads, any clue? Secondly, I've made a small website for my Linux Customise magazine.
