I agree that MLUG should not promote one distro over another per se. However considering the ever-increasing size of most Linux distros, we do have a limit. IMO we should mirror those distributions that the largest number of users will want to download, so as to provide the maximum benefit.
Keep in mind that most distros consist of one set of ISOs, one set of individual package files, and a set of updates at the very least. In addition, if we decide to mirror say the last 2 versions of each, that's a significant chunk of disk space per distro. -- Ramon Casha Malta Linux User Group (http://linux.org.mt)
