Hey guys, just a couple of clarifications. The main component of orchestra we're dealing with here is cobbler, which is for managing *machines*: whether they're physical or virtual should make no difference. So, crucially, you need to have machines available, and it's not a one-stop-shop for creating VMs or anything of the sort; it's not in any way an alternative to xen, but it is a complement to it.
I'd also note that, while there are a couple of scripts to make it *really* easy to use ubuntu releases, orchestra doesn't actively impose any requirements: it's a very thin wrapper over https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/, and you can deploy other distros as easily as you could with a stock cobbler. (and remember, orchestra is much more than just this: I'm talking strictly about the cobbler component). Anyway, it was a pleasure to meet you all on Saturday; looking forward to the next one.
