win7 is simply a marketing exercise imo. It is working too, they have all sorts of pundits claiming this is the best windows ever, etc etc bla bla. I doubt they have even looked into it or used it much. They should have called it windows 9.10; 9.1 > 7 - 'buntu ftw.
