Hi Everybody who uses Macs.

The Ubuntu group in Vancouver, BC, Canada, got it running on my Mac Intel very
simply: so I'm going to be able to install Mnemosyne Linux in my Ubuntu
partition today; then fight Linux install procedures and setups on the basis
that a week of pain will be worth it for the gain over the rest of my life.

There are tricks, but not unbearable, to installing Ubuntu Linux on Mac: the
chief of which was that everybody thought it was going to be tricky. Ubuntu is
humanity to others rather than charging them $£€250 an hour. Businesses,
including academia however, get charged a fair price to pay for their sins:
real and imaginary.

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1046568 From there you can find most
anything needed. I'm soon getting on to 'Finking' Mnemo to Mac; after a move
to Montreal for the summer.

George
