Have you tried wine? With wine you can install windows software on linux. Just 
install it: http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/WINE#Installation 

I've all already installed mnemosyne on Ubuntu this way. And it works. :) I 
think it is not very difficult to do it this way.

So many different operating systems?! Are you sure that you are a non-tech 
person!?! ;)
