For my Italian training (possibly also Chinese when motivation grows overwhelming), I want to add some sound files. I have a digital recorder that records in some sort of compressed wav. I want to be prepared for android version on my phone, so I am anxious to keep all files as small as possible (none of my pictures, for History of Art exceed 40 kb).
1) Any suggestions? I am prepared to invest in new recorder ;-) I imagine that a bit of sound-editing would also be nice (cut away unwanted pauses, adjust volume etc) 2) Any good editing programs out there?
