If I were you, I would go to http://www.vocabolaudio.com/ then grab
the files you need. If you want to record the sounds yourself, I would
invest in an good gaming headset and use the microphone on it.
Then I would have downloaded a free program from download.com. Most of
the programs have the functions your asking for (normalizing and
cutting). If you want an awsome program and have a lot of money, I
would go for coolEdit (now called Adobe Audition). The place you
record may have some background noise, some programs can remove the
noise. This gives better compression and better result.
Finally save the file as MP3 or WMA (WMA problably better) since it
gives better compression than wav.
