I haven't tested the upgrading for the Mac on my machine, because I didn't have 
1.x installed.  However, I did confirm that the upgrade script runs, so you 
should be ok.

In any case, please do back up your data first (I would back up the entire 
Mnemosyne directory in ~/Library/Application Support/Mnemosyne).  The Mac 
version *should* work but there may still be unknown problems lurking 
somewhere...
