Thanks Peter. I tried one more time after a) uninstalling and b) deleting the few files that were left in the Mnemosyne folder after uninstalling.
As I was previously running 1.2.2 successfully, I think the basic problem comes down to not uninstalling and removing all the files from that install. Interestingly, as noted by someone else, uninstalling and deleting in this way didn't delete any of my cards! What a relief! regards Richard On Monday, 13 August 2012 21:37:02 UTC+7, Peter Bienstman wrote: > Please try again with version 2.0.1. > > > > Peter > > > > On 08/13/2012 04:34 PM, [email protected] wrote: > > > On Monday, 9 July 2012 19:32:15 UTC+7, Peter Bienstman wrote: > > >> If you start the program again, do you get the same error? > > >> > > >> Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling? > > >> > > >> > > >> Which Windows version do you have? > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> If you have Python 2.5 installed on your system, perhaps it's good to > >> remove that too. > > >> > > >> > > >> Peter > > >> > > >> On Monday, 9 July 2012 00:03:00 UTC+2, (unknown) wrote:Hi, I have been > >> using Mnemosyne 1.1.2 for a few years and yesterday downloaded and > >> installed version 2.0.
