Hi Peter, That helped. I didn't need to do a full uninstall, because I was transferring to a new phone. It turns out I just needed to copy my phones database into the directory of my upgraded app and it worked. Hit a little snag on the way because it turns out that directory is no longer ~/.mnemosyne but ~/.local/share/mnemosyne but now I'm sorted.
