That isn't the bug for our #1 topcrash (bug 1028802 is), but they seem to be the same issue and the former bug has less comment clutter. (Different paths into the same piece of inline code seem to be resulting in different top frames in the crash reports.)
Does anyone have any ideas on what might be happening here, or on how to proceed? I'm hoping that someone with more experience of Android development might have some leads.
