Firefox 35 is looking like a permission bump release, both for download manager integration and stumbler.
We have at least one potential future feature that requires a permission bump — real overlays. It’s likely that we won’t have a permission bump release until there’s another pile of features to land, which will be a while. And so: what do people feel about shipping *potential* permission bump(s) in 35? Pro: no need to bump permissions in the future; doesn’t gate new features on a particular bump release. Con: it adds a permission that we can’t currently justify. _______________________________________________ mobile-firefox-dev mailing list [email protected] https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/mobile-firefox-dev
