A very fast Linux machine with a fast network connection can clone it in under five minutes, but your operating system, machine specs, and network connection will make a huge difference.
It will be no faster than downloading a GB of data, and will probably be a fair bit slower. Make sure you're running Mercurial 3.6 or higher; it's 25%+ faster at cloning, given that it has native support for bundles when cloning.
