I read that Disney are finally launching their Family MNVO service. http://corporate.disney.go.com/news/corporate/2006/2006_0405_mobile_magic_for_families.html
This is interesting for two reasons: it is a major entertainment brand that is creating a mobile service, and it is a service aimed a families. MVNOs are important in simulating market and content focused innovation rather than network focused innovation that owner-operators tend to work with. Mobile phones have in the past been highly individualistic products, but service actually realises that families exist! I don't think that is the first family service, does anyone know of others, and have any work on how they are used?
