Hello All! This is Shashi. In line with the group-tradition, starting the conversation with a brief about myself-- Brought-up and located in Mumbai (Bombay), I am Assistant Professor (English) at NM College of Commerce & Economics, and otherwise registered for PhD with Mumbai University. Interests-- as will be evident from the above, there's very little time left for anything much. I make the most of this little time by usually taking a good nap!!! otherwise, enjoy hindustani classical (although not trained). Technology-- it's what brings me to the group. although, there is no denying that i do like what technology is capable of doing and has done for us: the blind community, i am both poor and lazy at experimenting with what happens when one clicks on some button... this email is a warm-up for things to come-- you can expect me to post questions/doubts on some of the most basic things vis-a-vis mobile-phones.
