Hi sir,

Here, I would say only that this is not the first smartphone that I am using and I've an iPhone too, which too, comes across such situations many a times but has never shown such problem. Even, the AndroidOne phone is performing well on this front. I agree, that the searching for network/WyFi/GPS/Internet connection may take considerable amount
of battery, but the level of draining was far too to digest.

With best regards,
Satguru

Hi all,

Few of you might remember I wrote a few days back that I am having some issues with my MotoG2 battery. Just to revise, the phone was getting hot and the battery was draining very fast though there were no apps opened and no connectivity to Wifi and internet. Actually, I feel strange while writing about this and could find no reason for this odd behave and there is no explaination on the internet as well for the issue that I am going to write below!: I use two sims on this handset and the one is specifically used to brows internet and it is a prepaid sim by Reliance GSM. This problem started when my data pack got over and I had no data left to use but I still kept my data connection on from the settings thinking that when there is no data left on my plan, there is no point in turnning it on/off. The phone started heeting badly and the battery drained rapidly. The moment I recharged my data plan, the issue got fixed and the phone is behaving all normally.

Now, Has anyone experienced the same? If not, and if anyone comes to this holt in future, make sure your data is turned off from the moment your plan has no data to use.

With best regards,
Satguru
