I'm sorry that you're not getting to see them in Austin. And I'm sure
you'll live to see them play. I've been waiting for years and years to see
them, too, and since I live in Albuquerque (an hours drive from Santa Fe),
I decided this was going to be my last chance before dying, and I paid the
$57 to see them. Just so everybody knows, it a benefit for a great
contemporary art gallery up in Santa Fe. I'm not  much into art, but it's
one of the few places in Santa Fe that doesn't display trendy, kitschy
Native American/Southwest-esque type art. And I'm glad that SY is doing to
benefit for 'em. 
Here's a bit of advice for you, just in case. I lived in San Antonio once
(an hours drive from Austin, as you probably know) and certain places there
often had tickets for supposedly sold out shows. So look into it and maybe
you'll get lucky. Good luck.
