<Again, don't read this if you haven't seen it.

<My girlfriend had almost the exact response, and we decided that the
<bullet didn't go through the back of his head, but out through the
<corner.Maybe that's where the part of the brain where Tyler existed
<was...going right through the center of that section was like going
<through the center of Tyler's head...

<But then we had to ask ourselves, did it really matter anyway?>

-yeah, that's a good point. it's probably just the medical backround in me
that has a hard time believing he survived that shot and not only walked
and talked just fine, but also retained enough humor to politely ask one
of his soldiers for a bit of gauze on his way out...but that leads me to
your question of does it really matter anyway, because you're right, it
doesn't. who cares if he survived the shot or not, and what happened as a
result? he killed off tyler and in some form still existed, in whatever
delusional or non/delusional way...good point.

whatever the case, i don't think the two personalities merged at the
end. i think the shot of the back of brad's head blown up showed that
at least *his* character definitely died.

man, i'm sooo looking forward to seeing "being john malkovich" and that
other one with nicholas cage...i think it's called "waking the dead" or
something...what's with all these fucking awesome movies coming out all of
a sudden? blair witch, three kings, american beauty, fight club...

btw, does anyone think the new death cab for cutie is any good or not?
they're described as a cross between built to spill and modest mouse,
and i love both those bands...i haven't really sat down and listened to
the full cd yet..
