Book - "Understanding Comics" by Scott McCloud - A comic book about how
comic books "work". I have absolutely no interest in comics whatsoever, but
this is easily the most fascinating book I've ever read. If you have any
interest in art and how the human mind works, you REALLY should check it
out. One of my all-time favorites.
Movie - "Bottle Rocket" directed by Wes Anderson - Everyone here should see
this movie.
Music - "I See a Darkness" by Bonnie "Prince" Billie - This record has been
out for a while (early 99), but I just got it a few days ago and it's
rocking my world. Possibly the most bizzarely enjoyable album I've heard
since "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea". The title track is so beautiful you
could pass out and bang your head on something.
