There is nothing wrong with being ignorant about a subject - as long as you are prepared to do something about it. But if you are not, you are in danger of becoming a religious zealot and we have ample evidence at the moment of where that leads us. Instead of disparaging the alternatives, learn about them. Know their strengths and their weaknesses. It seems to me that, so equipped, you might be in a position to give a more valuable service to your Clients.
