sanity check problem: Help installing mod_perl 1.27 and apache1.3.27

Am having problems as seen in the 'sanity check' below.

 

Am attempting to install  mod_perl 1.27 and Apache 1.3.27.

I'm also running perl 5.8 on solaris. gcc 2.95.
