for the future, your report misses several important parts. In the future please make sure to read: http://perl.apache.org/bugs/ before submitting a report.
Also since all the errors are identical we prefer an inlined report with just one test.

I did actually go through that and somehow managed to miss the t/REPORT bit even though I got it the other post. I'll have to dig it out tomorrow when I'm back in work.
I went for the non inlined because I can leave the files where they are without being bothered about it and also there are some differences between the different the tests. One of them has different errors and the other that took ages before erroring out.
Whatever it is that is affecting my OpenBSD system is exactly the same as what Mikhail is seeing with his NetBSD system right down to the segfault which like the other things I missed as well.
Is there anything else I managed to miss?
